The sculpture "Boat" is situated on Metalurhaŭ Boulevard and it is the visiting card of Žlobin.

Whereas the sculpture was established recently, in twenty thirteen it became a stated symbol of the city, the visiting card of Žlobin. There is nothing strange in this because a boat is the main element of a city coat of arms of Žlobin and symbolizes movement and journey. Such coat of arms has been chosen for a reason, because the city is situated on a high shore of Dniapro, on the historical trade way "from the Varangians to the Greeks". It's interesting that image onto armorial groundwork came to hand volume as a result of slewing of hull for three-fourths which is a rare exception in armory. The author of the sculpture "Boat" is a winner of the competitive tender, a sculptor from Svietlahorsk Viktar Smoliar. It was manufactured of beaten copper in Minsk. On the tenth of September twenty thirteen a sculpture composition was established in Žlobin.
