A building of a museum of local lore was raised in nineteen two in the eclecticism style.

Imagine the beginning of the twentieth century. In front of a church of the Virgin Mary which once existed here, a horse square – a place of numerous fairs of Čavusy − was making a noise. Today among modern building up a rich decorated building – a house of a former district Treasury raised in nineteen two in the eclecticism style − is looking towards this expanse. Now a district museum of local lore is located in it. Here you will be narrated about operations on Čavusy lands in nineteen forty-four, a witness of which was a well-known Soviet writer Konstantin Simonov. He repeatedly was coming here and even left some of his things to the exposition of the museum. In all, ten thousands exhibits are waiting for you in the museum.
