The Dniapro River is the main water-way of Belarus.
Go down closer to the river. Spend some time in silence and tranquility on a sandy beach on a bank of Dniapro – the first in Belarus and the third in Europe by length and basin area after Volga and Danube. Its length is two thousand and one kilometers; its extension on territory of Belarus comes to seven hundred kilometers. Such cities as Kyiev, Mahiliou, Smolensk stays on this river. From ancient times Dniapro was weighing heavily as a thruway between Baltic and Black seas. A main part of the trade route “from the Varangians to the Greeks” was passing over it. A pike, a perch, a bream, a pike perch are found in the river.
