Church of Evangelical Christian Baptists "Salvation"
The church of Evangelical Christian Baptists "Salvation" was registered in 1996. The prayer house of the church is located at the address: city of Brest, Vulica Skrypnikava, 45a.
The Brest church "Salvation" carries out a diverse service. The musical collective of Brest Baptist believers called "Salvation" was organized back in 1989. Members of the band "Salvation" took part in many music competitions in Belarus and abroad. In 2007, the "Salvation" collective was awarded the honorary title of "National" for numerous victories in creative competitions. In 2010, the church "Salvation" initiated and organized the "City of Light" youth music festival in Brest.
The church participated in the installation of a memorial sign of the Brest Bible in 2017. As part of the "Brest Book Collections" project, it participated in the purchase of a reprint edition of the Brest Bible of 1563 for the rare books sector of the Brest Regional Library in 2018. In the same year, the church "Salvation" was one of the co-organizers of the international round table "Lukaš Dziekuć-Maliej: priest, teacher, translator" dedicated to the 130th anniversary of Lukaš Dziekuć-Maliej. In 2019, the church "Salvation" provided organizational support for the performance "Bible of Prince Radzivil" in Brest, as well as the exhibition "Brest – the City of the Bible", which was held in the Brest Regional Museum of Local History.
In 2021, the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the service of pastor Lukaš Dziekuć-Maliej in Brest fell. On this occasion, with the organizational support of the church "Salvation", the book "The Holy Gospel of Luke" was published. The edition was released by the publishing house of the National Library of Belarus and became the "Book of the Year" in the "Book Art of Belarus 2021" nomination. In October of the same year, 2021, the Brest Regional Library hosted the exhibition "The Bible in the Brest Region", which was also organized by the ministers and believers of the church "Salvation".
