In March 2009, the religious community of the parish of the church of St. Kiryla of Turaŭ was registered in the Homieĺ Regional Executive Committee.

On March 21, 2009, Archbishop Arystarch of Homieĺ and Žlobin celebrated the first liturgy. On April 2, 2017, His Grace Stefan performed the consecration and liturgy in the crypt church of the parish of St. Kiryla of Turaŭ in Svietlahorsk. On December 22, 2018, His Eminence Stefan performed the rite of consecration of the altar and church in honor of St. Kiryla of Turaŭ, and then performed the Divine Liturgy.
