The water mill building was built in the 19th century in the timber framing style, mostly spread in Germany. At that time it was fully equipped with everything necessary, including special devices for heavy grain loads lifting. For a long time of its operation, the mill was in big demand. When the Soviets came in power, the communal household appropriated it. For quite a long, the mill was used to produce electricity and was well operating until World War II. In the middle 20th century, the building fell into disrepair: the roof collapsed and the wooden structures began to rot. However, in 1980-s, all the required restoration works were done. Today, there is a popular coffee place with the euphonious name “Mill”.
