The Sianno House of Crafts was established in December 1993 and is housed in the museum of history and local lore.

The main activity of the House of Crafts is the preservation and revival of folk crafts, handicrafts and traditions of the Sianno District.

The House of Crafts presents 12 types of ancient Belarusian crafts: weaving, embroidery, sewing, vycinanka (papercutting), belt making, straw weaving, ceramic toy making, pottery, straw applique, painting, wood painting, folk costume. Today, the Sianno House of Crafts is a large workshop and training center for schoolchildren and young people.

Since 1998, the Sianno House of Crafts has hosted the “Natchniennie” (“Inspiration”) сlub of craftsmen, which has been awarded the title of “folk”. The club has an exhibition shop named “Sianno Souvenirs”.

Every year about 15 exhibitions of folk arts and crafts are exhibited at the Sianno House of Crafts, more than 40 events are held: meetings with craftsmen, workshops, informative lectures and competitions between students.
