The operating St. Nicholas Monastery in Homieĺ belongs to the Russian Orthodox Church.

The main church of the monastery – St. Nicholas Church – was built in 1904. The temple was built at the expense of the railwaymen.

The monastery was founded in 1994, and in 2004, it was renovated. In addition to the St. Nicholas Church, the monastery houses the St. Dionysius of Radonezh Gate Church. The courtyard of the monastery with the temple, dedicated to the Smaliensk Mother of God Icon, is located in the Ciarucha village.
