One of the main churches of Evangelical Christians in the Homieĺ Region.
The building of the Blahadać Church (Grace Church) in Homieĺ is reminiscent of a civil engineering object in architecture. The history of this temple, which was destined for a certain period to become the main Pentecostal church in the Homieĺ Region, began in the 90s of the 20th century.
In March 1993, Valieryj Bojka, the head of the musical evangelistic group "Halhofa" from Pinsk, held the first service with pastor Jaŭhien Sierhijenia. And on July 11, 1993, the first 15 members of the newly formed Homieĺ Evangelical Christian Church were baptized on the Sož river. On September 23, 1993, the church received state registration.
Since December 1998, the Blahadać Homieĺ Church began building its own prayer house, for which a piece of land with an unfinished building was bought. In 2001, the Association of Churches of the Evangelical Faith of the Homieĺ Region was registered in the newly built prayer house, in other words, the temple became the main Christian Evangelical Faith church building in the Homieĺ Region.
In 2004 Jaŭhien Sierhijenia, the Blahadać’s pastor, was elected Bishop of the Christian Evangelical Faith churches in Homieĺ Region. Currently, the Blahadać Church continues to carry out Christian ministry in Homieĺ.
