The History Museum of the Fire Service is located in one of the buildings of the former fire department, reconstructed at the beginning of the 21st century.

At the beginning of 1830, temporary premises for barracks and stables were determined in Mahilioŭ, and the city authorities began to equip a fire brigade. A plan and estimated cost  for the construction of permanent barracks and stables for the fire station were presented. The location of the fire station, chosen then, between the most developed and well-equipped central streets of the city, was the most optimal from the point of view of the convenience of leaving and reducing the time to extinguish a fire in the city center.

In 1961, a two-storey building No. 6 with a basement for 3 cars was built in the backyard of the fire station. Until 2007, it was used for its intended purpose, the fire station was located on the ground floor, and office and administrative premises on the first.

In Soviet times, the one-storey building No. 6, block 1, overlooking the lane, housed the service and administrative premises of the fire department and a club with a stage for firefighters. On July 25, 2014, the building was opened to visitors as the Museum of the History of the Fire Service of the Mahilioŭ Region. On an area of 250 square meters, there are more than 200 exhibits, most of which are modern copies. Unique items include a piston pump from the mid-nineteenth century, which delivered a stream of water up to 12 meters away. Here are the uniforms of firemen, historical photographs and documents, and various models of fire fighting equipment. In the Lupalaŭski District, it is planned to create a diorama of a powerful fire of 1910, as a result of which more than 20 people died, including firefighters, and more than 600 houses burned down.

The two-storey building No. 6B, overlooking a lane, was erected in the 19th century and is most likely the first fire station. After the completion of its reconstruction in 2014, the restaurant "101" is located here, the interior of which is made in a fire protection style.
