The house of the merchant Antaškievič (Anoška) is a monument of Baroque architecture of the late 17th century.

The house of the merchant Antaškievič (Anoška) was built in 1698. For a long time, this house was one of the best buildings in the city. Then, in May 1780 – the Mahilioŭ Region was already included in the Russian Empire – the Austrian Emperor Joseph II, who arrived in Mahilioŭ to meet with the Russian Empress Catherine II, stayed in this house. A memorial plaque on the building reminds of this event.

From 1815 to 1917, the house of the merchant Antaškievič served as an estate for meetings of the Mahilioŭ nobility.

In Soviet times, in 1977–1979, Anoška's house was reconstructed, a third floor was added. On December 24, 1982, a grand opening took place in the building of the memorial museum of the artist and painter Vitoĺd Kaetanavič Bialynicki-Birulia.

Today the house is a three-storey building with a basement, rectangular in plan, covered with a sloping roof, the third floor is an attic, built on during reconstruction. In the center of the facade, the main entrance is highlighted by an arch, above which there is a small balcony with a metal openwork fence.
