The Orthodox Church of St. Paraskeva Pyatnitsa was built in the late 20th century.

In 1975, the wooden Orthodox church in Žytkavičy burned down. During the years 1975–1996, services were held in the Church of the Great Martyr Paraskeva Pyatnitsa, which was built of two wooden houses. Only in 1998, a new church was built on the site of the burned-down church, which was consecrated in 2003.

The Church of St. Paraskeva Pyatnitsa is a canonical 4-part church. Narthex with an 8-sided hipped wooden bell tower.
