The Kiraŭski Bridge over the Dzvina River is located in the center of Viciebsk, connecting vulica Kirava (right bank) and vulica Zamkavaja (left bank). Its length is 236 meters.

Until the 1860s, there was only a wooden bridge across the Dzvina River in Viciebsk. It was located at the beginning of the modern Talstoha and Enhieĺsa streets. The citizens rebuilt it every year after the ice drift and flood. In 1866, a railway was brought to the city and a railway station was built in the right-bank part of Viciebsk. The city began to need a reliable and permanent connection of the main left-bank part with the right-bank part – Zadzvinnie, where the railway station was located. Thus, at the place where the Kiraŭski Bridge is now located, in 1863, the construction of the bridge began according to the project of engineers Emmy and Green. The design was similar to that of a bridge built in 1840 on the Saint-Germain Railway. The bridge was 4-span with metal double-hinged arches on rubble concrete supports and had a length of about 225 meters. The bridge was named “Dzvinski”.

During the Second World War, the Dzvinski Bridge was destroyed. In its place, the modern Kiraŭski Bridge was built in 1955. The Kiraŭski Bridge is 3-span with hingeless arches made of monolithic reinforced concrete. Channel supports stay on caisson foundation, coastal abutments – on pile foundation. The right-bank embankment (vulica Iĺinskaha) is passed into a separate span. The total length of the bridge is 236 meters. At the beginning of the bridge, on the right bank, there are 2 decorative columns with lanterns. There are also descents leading from the embankment to the bridge. On the left bank there are 2 decorative pedestals. The bridge is illuminated by stylized "antique" lanterns.
