The fire station in Baranavičy was built in the 30s of the XX century. Today the building continues to be used for its intended purpose. It contains emergency rescue unit number two.

The voluntary fire society in Baranavičy appeared at the end of the XXI century. The necessary equipment was purchased with donations from the citizens. In 1904, firemen organized 24-hour standby. The fire service continued to operate in Baranavičy during the First World War. The German occupation authorities understood the importance of fire-prevention measures.

After the Riga Treaty of 1921, Baranavičy, like other human settlements in Western Belarus, became part of the Second Polish-Lathuanian Commonwealth. In the 30s of the XX century, the city administration gave a land plot near the railway station for the building of the fire station. The building was brick, with observation windows on each of the four floors. At the very top of the fire tower there was an observation ground. Pipes were laid underground to provide the fire station with water. Pumping stations and fire hydrants were installed in the city. In the late 30s of the XX century, the fire brigade had a special uniform, fire trucks. An orchestra was organized at the fire station.

At the beginning of World War II, the fire brigade did not leave its post. Firemen fought with fire after the bombing. In the second half of 1944, the fire service fell into the hands of the NKVD. The volunteer squad was disbanded.

The fire station building was reconstructed after the end of World War II. Above the main building there is a three-story tower, which performs today decorative function. Each wall of the tower has a window for a good view.
