Catholic Church of St. Sigismund in Baranavičy is located at the intersection of Entuzijastaŭ and Siaržanta streets. It is an example of the avant-garde style in architecture.
In November 1996, Cardinal Kazimir Sviontak consecrated the site for the construction of the Catholic Church of St. Sigismund on the feast of the Mother of Divine Mercy. Priest Bahdan Krynski became the rector of the new parish. The construction was completed in 2000.
The building of the catholic church is a fine example of the avant-garde style in architecture, reflecting all the new trends in religious construction. The predominantly red bricks and concrete were used, but the large number of windows give the feeling of lightness. The entire main facade consists of two tall towers with pitch roofs. The space between the towers is almost all made of glass. The area around the catholic church also gives a sense of lightness, it can be called an example of landscape design.
