The monument to the famous Belarusian writer Uladzimir Karatkievič was opened in 1994.

The monument to the famous Belarusian writer Uladzimir Karatkievič (1930–1984) was installed in the park on vulica Suvorava. The authors of the monument are the sculptor Ivan Kazak and the architect Valieryj Rybakoŭ.

Every year, on November 26, the birthday of Uladzimir Karatkievič, a festive event is held near the monument. The initiator of the event is the poet David Simanovič.
