The stone in honor of the foundation of Lida is located in vulica Savieckaja and tells guests about the beautiful city in whose honor it is installed.

One of the sights of Lida is located near the Church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross. It is a stone that is installed in honor of the foundation of the city. The installation of the massive boulder in 2008 was held in conjunction with the 685th anniversary of Lida. The author of the monument was a local sculptor Ryčard Hruša. For his work, the master found a huge boulder in the Voranaŭski district. The most difficult stage was the transportation of the stone, as it weighed 30 tons. After special boasting, the boulder "decreased in weight" by 10 tons.

On the one side of the stone there is an engraving of the arms, which Lida received together with the Magdeburg Law on September 17, 1590. In addition, it also shows the date of foundation of the city (1323) and a written text in the Church Slavonic language, which states that the Duke of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania Hiedzimin bequeaths the city to his son Kiejstut, to whom Lida passed in 1330. On the other side of the boulder, information about the foundation of the city is given in Belarusian.
