Bialynicki District Art Museum named after Vitoĺd Bialynicki-Birulia was founded in 1969. It was opened to the public on May 29, 1970. Materials about the life and work of artists of the region are collected in the museum.

The basis of the museum's exposition has been made up of exhibits that were transferred by the artist's widow, Aliena Bialynickaja-Birulia. A significant contribution was also made by The National Art Museum of the Republic of Belarus, the Mahilioŭ Regional Museum of Local Lore named after Je. Ramanaŭ, local artists and individuals. 

Vitoĺd Kaetanavič Bialynicki-Birulia is a famous landscape painter, National Artist of Belarus. He was born on February 29, 1872 in folwark Krynki, on the territory of the present-day Bialyničy District in the family of a small nobleman. Artist gained great success in 1911, when his painting “Hour of Silence” received a Medal of Honor in Munich and a bronze medal in Barcelona. Vitoĺd Bialynicki-Birulia is considered one of the creators of the memorial landscape genre. He is also considered a master of the spring landscape. There are about 200 paintings where he showed spring nature. 

The museum foundations have 853 items. The collection “Art” contains 27 paintings by Vitoĺd Bialynicki-Birulia. It also includes works by Lieanid Ščamialioŭ, Michail Savicki, Vitaĺ Cvirko and other artists. The museum's exposition also includes the collections “Graphics”, “Sculpture”, “Decorative and Applied Arts”, “Photo Documents” and “Written Sources”. The latest collection contains manuscripts, stamps, envelopes, postcards, posters, autographed books, booklets, as well as two autograph letters by Vitoĺd Bialynicki-Birulia.
