The building of the railway terminal at the Svietlahorsk-na-Bierazinie station is an architectural monument of the early XX century.

Svietlahorsk is one of the youngest cities of Belarus. It appeared in 1961. The railway passed through this place much earlier. In 1915, the Žlobin – Kalinkavičy section was built.

In the place where the railway crosses the Bierazina river, the Šacilki railway station appeared (Šacilki is the name of the village, on the site of which Svietlahorsk appeared). In the 1960s, this station was called Svietlahorsk-na-Bierazinie.

Together with the railway station, the railway terminal building was erected. Today, this building is considered an architectural monument of the early XX century.
