In the 30s of the XX century it was used mainly for memorial services. And then it was closed at all and used as a warehouse. The church was reopened for divine services only in 1980, when the city's millennium anniversary was celebrated.

The temple has many ancient icons, among which are the icons of the Turaŭ saints Kiryla, Laŭrencij and Marcin.

In 1998, a memorial sign to the Orthodox Duke Kanstancin (Vasiĺ) Astrožski, who was born and lived in Turaŭ in the first half of the XVI century, was erected near the temple.
