Stone Crosses are one of the most famous and mysterious landmarks of Turaŭ.

Historians do not exclude the possibility that Turaŭ Stone Crosses had used to be pagan idols that were remade into Christian symbols.

In 1930 in the BSSR, in line with anti-religious politics, it was ordered to drown Turaŭ Stone Crosses.

Three two-meter crosses have survived to this day. One of them is in the Orthodox Church of All Saints and one is near the Cathedral of St. Kiryla Turaŭski and Laŭrencij Turaŭski in Turaŭ. And one more is in the village of Pahost of Žytkavičy district. In addition to these crosses, there is another cross at the Boris and Gleb cemetery, which is located on the banks of the Jazda river.
