The Hrodna "Čyrvonaja Zorka" Cinema has a long and interesting history.

The oldest cinema in Hrodna was built in 1914–1915 at the initiative and expense of the staff captain Siarhiej Manastyrski’s family. At first it was called "Eden". Subsequently, the name of the cinema was repeatedly changed — "Palac", "Palonija" and "Pan". The last time the name changed after the annexation of Western Belarus to the BSSR when the cinema became known as "Čyrvonaja Zorka".

The Hrodna "Čyrvonaja Zorka" Cinema is one of the oldest buildings in Eastern Europe that was erected for film screenings and is used for its intended purpose. The two-storey building of the cinema was built in the classicism style with Art Nouveau elements. The facade is decorated with semi-columns and wide blades. The base is finished with stone. There is a balcony with wrought iron railings on the second floor.
