The Kasciukovičy’s Museum of Local Lore is a cultural, educational and research center of the Kasciukovičy region.
The Kasciukovičy’s Museum of Local Lore was established on June 18, 1973. At first the museum was located in a wooden house. In 1990 it moved to a special two-story building, the area of which is more than 242 square meters.
For now the total number of museum items is more than 22 hundred units. The museum has a number of exhibition halls: «Archeology», «Bonistics», «Military History», «Graphics», «Film and phono documents», «Numismatics», «Ethnography» and others.
The museum carries out research activities on a number of topics: «Kasciukovičy region. Local features of a towel», «Handicrafts and crafts of the Kasciukovičy region in the second half of the XIX – early XX century», «Traditional food culture of the residents of the Kasciukovičy region in the late XIX – first third of the XX century» and others.
The museum organizes a number of cultural events: «An evening at the museum – a spiritual and aesthetic rest for the whole family». There is also the museum-pedagogical program «Origins». The museum holds creative evenings, exhibitions of creativity of persons with disabilities and so on.
