The Church of the Holy New Martyrs and Confessors of the Land of Belarus is located in the South-Western part of Skidzieĺ. It was erected in honor of priests and believers who had been suffered or had been killed during the religious persecution of the twentieth century.

The construction of this temple, which is the center of the spiritual life of the local Orthodox community, took 12 years. On October 26, 2001, Bishop Arciemij of Hrodna and Valkavysk consecrated the site of the new church. The construction began in 2002. On October 25, 2014, the church was officially consecrated.

The church was built in honor of priests and believers who had been suffered or had been killed during the religious persecution of the twentieth century.

The Church of the Holy New Martyrs and Confessors of the Land of Belarus belongs to the retrospective Russian style. This is evidenced by typical architectural elements, including the onion-shaped dome, which is mounted on a high light drum. The ensemble also includes a gate-bell tower.
