Church of St. Joseph the Craftsman is one of the main landmarks of Skidzieĺ. The temple serves as an example of modern architecture.

The temple is located in the South-Western part of the city near the Hrodna-Minsk highway. The cornerstone of the new church was consecrated by Pope John Paul II on May 22, 1995 in Soczawa, Poland. The foundation of the future church and the bell were consecrated on May 1, 1997 by Bishop Aliaksandr Kaškievič of Hrodna. The first service was held in the still unfinished church on May 1, 2000.

The church has a diamond-shaped plan, covered with a gable metal roof. The main entrance to the temple is marked by a bell tower. The huge hall space of the church is covered with a flat quilted plank ceiling with a slight slope to the corners. A stately carved crucifix is placed on the altar wall.
