The Monument to the creators of the Belarusian national classical opera – Stanislaŭ Maniuška and Vincent Dunin-Marcinkievič – is located in the heart of the Vierchni Horad.

A sculptural composition dedicated to the creators of the Belarusian national classical opera, composer Stanislaŭ Maniuška and playwright Vincent Dunin-Marcinkievič, is located in the square near the City Hall on Svabody Square.

The grand opening of the sculpture was held on September 3, 2016 in the park of Svabody Square. In the XIX century, the Minsk city theater, where in 1852 the premiere of the Opera "Idyll" by Stanislaŭ Maniuška and Vincent Dunin-Marcinkievič took place, was located in this square, called Sabornaja. For the first time, the Belarusian language sounded from the stage. The opera is dedicated to the period in the Belarusian history that came after the suppression of the uprising of 1830–1831 when many of its members found themselves outside the territory of the land. And when the children of forced emigrants returned to their homeland, they could not find themselves at first, but new acquaintances and love helped them to become part of their country.

The authors of the sculpture are Lieŭ and Siarhiej Humilieŭskis. Their creative proposal was chosen based on the results of the competition.
