The pharmacy was in this house throughout whole its history and has not undergone any major changes.

The pharmacy was built in the twenties of the twentieth century by the pill-peddler Stanislaŭ Lajeŭski. He graduated from University of Warsaw as a pharmaceutist and most probably after receiving of the diploma opened his own pharmacy in Baranavičy. His all-night pharmacy was working day-and-night on the ground storey of the building. Lajeŭski was living himself with his family on the first storey. The pharmacy was producing own drugs, which it was delivering also to a city hospital. During the Second World War the pharmacy didn't stop working. In nineteen fourty six it was nationalized and Lajeŭskis' were forced to get out to Poland. Today the pharmacy on Teĺmana Vulica in Baranavičy is the only pharmacy of the Brest Region that has an exposition of pharmaceutics. In this renewal it was also taken into account the fact that formerly a lot of components of drugs were vegetating in the territory of the pharmacy. In front of it a true pharmaceutical kitchen garden was laid out where mint, calendula and a lot of other helpful vulnerary plants have been raised.
