Yard estate of the Jundzils is a monument of classicism architecture. It is included in the State List of Historical and Cultural Values of the Republic of Belarus.
There was a famous magnate Jundzils clan of the emblem «Swan» in the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. The founder of the clan is Račko, who lived at the turn of the XIV–XV centuries, The surname Jundzil derived from his son Jundzila. The history of this clan was closely connected with the Ivacevičy region.
The estate in Ivacevičy belonged to the magnates Jundzils since the XVI century. There is no more accurate information about the time of construction. According to some sources, there was a fruit garden near the estate, and lindens grew around the house.
There was a picturesque park with walking alleys in front of the main entrance. The palace was built in the late XVIII – early XIX centuries in the style of classicism, which is characterized by simplicity, clarity and rigor of spatial solutions, expressive lines and the absence of excesses. The organization of space in the yard of the Jundzils’ estate was creating a special atmosphere combining the proximity of nature and high culture.
