There are picturesque ruins on the banks of the Dzvina in the center of Dzisna. This is a former country hospital built at the beginning of the XX century.

There are the ruins of the country hospital built in 1902 on the bank of the Dzvina in the center of Dzisna. The hospital had three departments and was designed for 100 beds. This building retained its purpose both during the time of the Russian Empire and in the BSSR. During the German occupation, an officer hospital was located in the hospital building. In 1944, during the battles for Dzisna, the wooden floors and the roof of the building completely burned down. It was decided to restore the hospital building in 1958, however, due to the liquidation of the Dzisnienski district, all works were stopped. In the early 90's of XX century it was planned to transfer the destroyed building to the church, but the case was not realized. So majestic picturesque ruins still stand on the banks of the Dzvina.
