The sign of spiritual kinship between the countries of the world does not have any inscriptions, and it is often confused with a monument dedicated to the events of Second World War.

The sign of spiritual kinship between the countries of the world is located on Janka Kupala Street, not far from the chestnut avenue. It is a stone pillar, split at the top of the sculpture. The stones at the foot of the stone pillar show the directions of the parts of the world.

The sign is set by the German sculptor Peter Medzech. It is part of a much larger project. This famous European sculptor decided to connect the east and west of Europe with a chain of so-called "spiritual" stones. These stones are on the same geographical line. In addition to Minsk, the symbol of spiritual kinship between the countries of the world is set in the French Bayeux and the German Takgermünde.

According to the author’s idea, the horizontal path, which turns into a vertical granite stele, shows the body and spirit, and the split at the top – new ways and opportunities for humanity.
