This is a living encyclopedia that clearly and vividly shows the life of the Haradoččyna in the past and present.

Regional natural history museum of Haradok was founded on February 20, 1974. And on December 24, 1976, the museum was open to visitors. In 1996, the museum received a new building. In 2004, by decision of the Haradok’s Regional Executive Committee, a cultural institution «Regional natural history museum of Haradok» was created. The exposition area of the museum is 190 square meters, and the exhibition area is 255 square meters.

The museum has three exhibition and three exposition halls. The «Hall of ethnography and folk crafts of the Haradoččyna» contains the expositions: «Life of peasants at the end of the 19th – beginning of the 20th century», «Traditional female and male crafts», «Beliefs of our ancestors», «Household of Haradok’s and county inhabitants» and «Our famous countrymen» .

The second exhibition hall «The way we went to victory». Its exposition is dedicated to the Second World War, fellow countrymen participating in the war, the occupation regime, and military operations in the region.

The exposition of the nature department is located in two halls: informational and dioramic. The informational hall includes paleontological exhibits, photographs, maps and schemes of the natural environment of the Haradoččyna, the Red book of the Haradocki region.

The dioramic hall of the nature department includes five dioramas: «Forest», «Highmoor», «Meadow. Pond», «Birds on the lake», «Water walnut». Near 100 insect species are represented in separate display cases.

A literary and artistic composition «Kanstancin Vieranicyn and his poem «Taras on Parnassus» was opened near the museum building. On two large boulders memorial plaques with information about the poem and its author are situated.
