It is a beautiful neo-gothic church of the early 20th century.

The first Catholic church appeared in Miory already in the 16th century. In the 17th century, a monastery was founded here as well. After the suppression of the uprising of the 1830–1831, the church was closed. The Catholic Church of the Assumption of the Most Holy Virgin Mary was built in 1907 on the east shore of Lake Mijorskaje in the South part of the town. It was made of red brick in the place of a wooden chapel according to the project of a Viĺnia architect Antonij Filipovič-Dubovik. After World War II, due to the antireligious policy, the temple was converted into a granary. However, it was returned to the faithful in 1956. The Catholic church is listed in the State List of Historical and Cultural Heritage of the Republic of Belarus. In the temple there are rare icons and sculptures of the 19th century, which have survived until today.
