This is a 100-year neo-gothic catholic church.

In the early 20th century, a red-brick neo-gothic catholic church appeared in Rahačoŭ in the place of a wooden one. It was consecrated on August 6, 1912 and operated until 1930-s. Then it was closed due to the Soviet antireligious policy.

In different times, there was a granary, a beverage and an ice-cream manufactory. In 1940, a fire befell the former church building. Its wooden constructions and roof were burnt down. In the end of World War II, the building caught a few shells. After the war, the church served as a fire station and a bakery.

In 1970-s, the building began to be empty. With the beginning of the Soviet “reconstruction”, the local history experts raised the question about the temple restoration, but unsuccessfully. Only in the beginning of the 21st century, the building was transferred to a local Catholic community. Now there are restoration works.
