Each third mining dump truck in the world is made in Žodzina.

The Belarusian Vehicle Plant (BelAZ) was founded in Žodzina in 1948. It has developed more than 600 mining dump trucks modifications with carrying capacity from 27 to 360 tons. More than 130 thousand units sent to more than 70 countries were released. There is a monument to the first mining dump truck near the plant. A museum is located in the plant area. Since the plant is a high security facility, it is not so easy to visit the museum. But if you get in, you can admire the unique human-made creations – BelAZ vehicles. Visitors are often impressed with exhibits, because there are no mining dump trucks on the local roads.
