The monument to Ramuaĺd Traŭhut — one of the leaders of the uprising of 1863–1864.

As Kastuś Kalinoŭski, Ramuaĺd Traŭhut was studying in the gymnasium of Svislač. During the uprising of eighteen sixty-three – eighteen sixty-four Traŭhut formed and headed a troop of rebels of Kobryn. As a successful captain and a thought leader, he was invited in a position of a leader of the National government in Warsaw. He was arrested on the thirtieth of March eighteen sixty-four. Russian authorities condemned Ramuaĺd Traŭhut to death penalty. He died on the gallows in a citadel of Warsaw on the fifth of August eighteen sixty-four. The monument was raised in nineteen twenty-eight. Authors of the sculpture are a local teacher Paviel Bialka and a Warsaw architect Zbaroŭski. In nineteen forty the monument was destroyed. It was renewed in nineteen eighty-eight according to the sketches of Hrodna sculptor Aliaksandr Ancipin.
