A monument of manor architecture of the beginning of the nineteenth century.

In June eighteen twelve a main office of the Russian second West army which was led by the general Bagration was situated in this building. For a long time the manor was a city hospital, then – an almshouse. During the Second World War the building was partly ruined. In nineteen forty-nine at the site of a museum of local lore set up "during the Polish time" by the local area studies specialist H. Pieh the Soviet military-historical museum was placed in the building. In the museum there is an exposition dedicated to the history of the city and also a detailed exposition dedicated to the war of eighteen twelve. Among showpieces there are valuable engravings with battle scenes.
